You may have noticed a change in the RSA?
We are refreshing our image and updating our offer to embrace a new generation of New Zealanders. You may already have noticed the transformation taking place. If you are a current member, we hope you approve. And if you’ve not yet had a connection with the RSA, we invite you to get to know us.
A strong sense of belonging
As a member, you have a “home away from home” at any RSA throughout New Zealand and can always be sure of a warm welcome. Our members are also welcome at affiliated service clubs in Australia, the UK, Canada and many more countries as a result of our affiliation to the Royal Commonwealth Ex-Services League.
At many RSAs you can grab a coffee, relax with friends at the bar, or enjoy a wholesome meal at a competitive price. As a member you can make new friends, and reconnect with former comrades.
Most RSAs have snooker, darts, golf, indoor and/or outdoor bowls facilities and gaming machines, as well as scheduled entertainment throughout the month.
For those who love to be busy, the RSA social calendar is always full with plenty of opportunity to join in.
Events
Members are encouraged to take part in a variety of activities – from fundraising events and club nights to National sporting competitions, with supporting social activities. Travel to championships is affordable for all, since many places across New Zealand offer special discounted room rates to RSA members.
Support
RSA members have easy access to advice and support on veteran entitlements from the Support Advisor based at each local RSA. Further advice is available from the National Support Manager, as is access to our War Pensions Appeal advocacy service.
RSA Review
Members receive a special subscription rate to the RSA Review, the official publication of the RSA.
